Pulmonology Visit

It amazes me how simple diagnostic procedures are not thought of along the process of trying to unravel complicated conditions. And maybe, ignoring the simple, complicates the problem!

As in: Sweetie has COPD & emphazema. Yet it's taken a a PA, a physician, a cardiologist and finally a pulmonologist to LOOK DOWN his throat and say: "You've got an infection!"

An infection that likely has been ongoing for months!

Then he's giving a sputum sample tomorrow; having more blood tests and a sleep study.

And, he has three more meds.

So on we go.

Sorry for all the health issues that are ongong there. It sure is good he has you to be his advocate and cheering section. Tramp 1 is overdue for a couple of tests and I am going to get him scheduled as soon as possible - thanks for reminding me...

Hey, they are only practicing medicine, not proficient at it!

The only thing they are proficient at is emptying your bank account.

A friend of my dad's says, "The doctors have a license to practice medicine, and they aint practicing on me."
I went thru similiar things with a couple of friends fighting cancer. It seems to go on and on.
Praying for both of you.

Here I don't check in for a few days and you have moved to Florida getting a houseboat and had a miracle cure for Sweetie ! Your world is sure spinnin'.
Pick your area down there and go on Craigslist to find yourselves a boat. Maybe they would trade a place in Michigan for it....get a good one. B.
