To All The Mothers
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms. You do the best, most important job in the world.
Many of you extend your mothering to neighborhood kids, adopt other children and are the only positive role mother countless children have via church, Scouting, 4-H, sports, school groups, as a teacher and in any other capacity in which you connect with the world.
My own childhood was not an Ozzie and Harriet scene but I found mothers, none-the-less. My high school English teacher, my grandma, my 4-H leader, my favorite aunt and today my elderly friend back in Michigan.
Only the last two are still here and I'm so grateful I've had them in my life because everyone needs their mother - even at age 59.

Happy Mother's Day to you, Treesong!
I hope all is well in your neck of the woods!
Hope you had a happy mother's day. Please hang in there. I've been reading you since you before you moved to the UP. I've thought of you and your gallbladder issues as I healed most of my gallbladder issues by not eating wheat in any shape or form. Turns out being gluten intolerant and eating wheat can cause a huge amount of problems in the body including memory loss, gallbladder issues and ms. Here are a couple of links worth reading;

It is easy to live without wheat. I've been doing it for 6 months. I'll even send you my gluten free donut recipe if you'd like
Get well soon. Please email me if you want to talk on the subject further.
